The Open Roads fuel card basically works like a debit card. By linking your bank account or credit card you're able to buy fuel at our 3,300+ merchants nationwide.

We need to know you're a real person.

We are at least 15-20 days out on getting your card in the mail to you from the day we receive your application, but you're receiving FREE Priority Processing so it will be sooner. We ship the cards via USPS.

You're receiving priority processing with your application, so that's great! If you would like overnight delivery, it will be sent by FedEx for an additional fee of $55.

If you are Canadian and need your card overnighted to Canada, the charge for shipping your card will be $120. 

Please note, if you are wanting it overnighted, you will need to make sure you click on the instant bank verification process as the other two options take several days to verify.

When filling out the application, please put your permanent address. If you are selecting the overnight option, please email support@myopenroads.com with the address you want it to be shipped to. 

For all our Canadian clients, Open Roads requires a US Bank Account with US Currency. The account will require a US Bank Routing Number (it will be 9 digits).  The account must allow for ACH withdrawals from a US based Company. 

No, we no longer require social security number to apply. Your identity is now verified through Plaid. 

Yes! You can link your existing credit card to your Open Roads account. Please note, all credit card transactions will require a 3% fee and there is a one-time $3 activation fee.  

Remember, the card is FREE to use for our members! We make our money by charging 10% of the savings when you fuel. So, if you save $50 on a fill up we'll take $5 for our operation costs.

There is a small transaction fee of either .15 or .40 cents for the entire transaction. This is a merchant fee passed onto the member. 

The sky is the limit! On average, our members see .40 - .50 cents off a gallon of diesel. Sometimes more, sometimes less! It depends on where you are fueling and what part of the country you're in.

 At this time, we limit the amount of fuel you can purchase to 200 gallons per day.

Yes! The truck lanes are yours to use with our fuel card. The card will NOT work at the front pumps.

Download our Open Roads App for iPhone or Android.  On this app you will be able to see all your transactions, view all in-network locations, and real-time prices before you get to the pump. We guarantee all prices.

You can download it directly from the app store. Look up “Open Roads”.

Once you download, go to Sign-Up (not login) and create an 8 character password. Once that is complete, you will be logged in and can start using the app.

We will issue you an EFS card.

Once you have your card in hand, you're ready to start saving.

In order to use your Open Roads card, you will need to use the commercial truck lanes at the back of most locations.

Insert your EFS card into the fuel pump.

The pump will ask you a series of questions that you can either click "Yes" or "Skip" on. For example, the pump will ask if you would like to purchase DEF. You can either click yes or no then it will go to the next question.

A prompt will ask for specific information that verifies you as the owner. Once your code is entered, you're ready to fuel.

Within 1-2 business days you will receive an email from us showing you the complete details of the transaction. Transparency is important so you will see all the details of your transaction, including our fee.
